Over the past "48 Hours," Eddie Murphy’s marriage officially timed out.

Court papers obtained by People confirm that the "Nutty Professor" star’s divorce from wife Nicole Murphy was made final Monday in Los Angeles.

As part of the arrangement, the actor will pay his ex child support to help take care of their five kids–Bria, Myles, Shane, Zola and Bella Zahra. Murphy also has a son, Christian, from a previous relationship.

"The welfare of our children is our main concern and their best interest is our first priority," Murphy said last year in a statement issued by his rep, Paul Bloch.
